Formerly known as Indonesian restaurant in Causeway Bay since 1968, it officially reopens as IR1968 at its new location in Central.
Whilst retaining authentic Indonesian flavors served at its predecessor, IR1968 introduces a modern interpretation on traditional Indonesian cuisine. Using only prime grade ingredients, IR1968 delivers Indonesian street food – Gourmet Style.
Must try items include the Beef Tenderloin satay, Ox Tongue with Javanese Sauce, and Sour and Spicy Fish Fillet. For vegetarian diners, must try items include the Yellow ginger rice with assorted dishes and the Veggie Rice-paper Roll.
The restaurant also houses an open bar where authentic Indonesian favorites such as Bintang Beer and Teh botol bottled Tea are served along with the more familiar selection of happy hour beverages.
